Monte Albán Tour Schedule

09:00 Leaving Oaxaca city to Monte Albán
09:30—11:30 Tour of the Monte Albán ruins and a visit to the museum where you can see the treasures that were found there.
12:00—13:00 Black pottery tour in San Bartolo Coyotepec. See the beautiful work done by the locals using this traditional method of pottery making.
13:30—14:30 Trip to San Martín Tilcajete, to partake in the making of the famous alebrijes of Oaxaca, wood carvings created from the copal tree and painted with bright natural colors.
15:00—16:00 A visit to the ex—convent of Cuilapan de Guerrero, an impressive work of architecture with it's open chapel whose purpose was to spread the catholic religion to the indigenous population.
17:00 Return to Oaxaca City.
